The Penn Wireless website is open again for new registrations. Here is the rundown of events leading to the new website:

• Pennwireless.org was co-located for free on a server for as long as that original server was still in operation.
• The server hosting Pennwireless.org was shut down due to cancellation of the internet account the original server was connected to.
• A new website server was found to replace the original one, on the same terms as before.
• The new website server is on a much faster connection. (For those inclined to detail, on redundant T3 lines and not a 128K DSL line) 
• The original Pennwireless.org website content is still on the old server and the data still needs to be manually retreived.
• The old website software will not work on the new server. However, similar software is in it's place.
• The new Pennwireless.org website will still be managed by the same people. 

So in the meantime, please re-register on the new website and help us grow Pennwireless.org to be an even bigger presence.
